A common species I see in Khon Kaen (ones which often jump right into you), is this one. It is a medium-sized species which has uniform brown wings, yellowish markings on the legs and a rather distinctive orange abdomen and was in my back garden, in 2011. It has been identified by Joe Hartman as Aberrant Grasshopper or Epistaurus aberrans, with thanks! Very impressed as I didn't have a clue and I searched for an ID haha.
