Tiger Beetle (Calochroa flavomaculata)

Though I see them quite often, Tiger Beetles are really hard to photograph well as they are very fast moving. I have tried times to get good shots to no avail. Then, one evening, I saw a good-sized specimen outside my door, probably attracted by the night light. It was docile enough to let me get decent photos of it. Later it was IDd by Noppadon Makbun as the Tiger Beetle, Calochroa flavomaculata. It seems to be fairly common. I wouldn't want to be a little bug anywhere near that thing, though!
